  2. Habitat The dhole lives in forest habitats Mainly located in Southeast Asia They used to be as far as Russia, down to China, Malaysia, and Indonesia

  3. What Dholes Eat Dholes will eat a variety of foods Here are some: Insects, lizards, berries, rodents, hares, and many other food sources.  If they are big enough, they may also be able to hunt deer Dholes are omnivores

  4. What Hunt Dholes ? Large wild cats such as tigers and leopards are the only natural predators of the dhole The biggest threat to the dhole is mainly humans The dhole doesn’t have many predators because of it’s protection with the pack that’s it’s with

Dholes Disease Dholes carry Toxocara canis in their feces, which is a very infectious pathogen Dholes are known to have diseases like rabies, canine distemper, mange, trypanosomiasis, canine parvovirus, and endoparasites like cestodes and roundworms. Dholes are very capable of getting many diseases, especially where there are other species around them that carry disease

  6. Not Having The Dhole Affecting The Environment The dhole is important with life in the mountain ranges They don’t really matter in other parts of the world But they keep everything in place and keep certain predators out of there are

  7. Protection Its now illegal to hunt the dhole There’s only about 2500 dholes left on the world If you kill a dhole, you can face up to 6 years in prison and can pay a fine of up to 5,000 dollars

  8. Increasing Numbers They are now trying to keep dholes in one area so they wont be hunted They’re breeding the dholes and having them reproduce No one is allowed to hunt the dhole

  9. Becoming Extinct The dhole started losing their land because of people moving into their environment They also lost their land to other animals Many people were also hunting the dhole and they just kept losing more and more dholes
