Newton’s law of motion By Clauderion Kelley
Newton’s First Law • If an object is in motion it will stay in motion and an object at rest will stay at rest. Until acted upon by an outside force. • For example if a ball is rolling down a hill it will want to keep rolling until something stops it from rolling. • If you are standing still you stay still until someone pushes you.
Newton’s Second Law • The greater the force the greater the acceleration • If you lightly push a toy car if will barley go anywhere. But if you push it with a great force it will go far
Newton’s Third Law of Motion • For every action there is a equal and opposite reaction • For example if a rocket takes off the fire would be the action and it propelling forward would be the reaction.
