42. User Interface Operating Guide

43. The key to the efficiency and usefulness of any Console relies heavily on the Graphical User Interface or ‘GUI’. Mindshare understands this and has built the System around the needs and actions of the Dispatcher with a fully customizable Operator Screen.

44. To select a Channel, simply click on the “SELECT” button….. All primary Dispatch functions may be accomplished from the Main Screen below:

45. To Transmit, simply click on the “PTT or “Transmit” button For Selected Channel Transmit, Footswitch or Global PTT button activation is also available.

46. Optional functions such as Paging, Patching, Simulcast etc. are accessed by clicking on the appropriate button.

47. PAGING Dependent upon how Paging Setup has been programmed, tones will be: • Sent automatically upon selection • Stacked for sequential transmission • Grouped for simultaneous transmission Tones and voice messages will be sent out on assigned Channels as programmed.

48. Additional functions such as Simulcast, Patching and Auxiliary/Alarm controls are also available through similar Pop-up Windows.
