  3. e-Training for Trainers An introduction to Simulation • The courses are designed for those providing training for doctors and medical students • 10-15 min video based e-learning module • A taste of what simulation for foundation doctors involves • Part of larger e-learning package for trainers • Filmed at Worthing District General Hospital

STFS Simulation • Simulation Training Facilities • All trusts have a facility or are in the process of developing one • Equipment • Every Trust has simulation kit • Faculty • Each Trust has a simulation lead • Over 2,000 faculty trained via STeLI Faculty Development programme • SAFE / SQuaD KSS SimNet______Kent, Surrey and Sussex Simulation Network

STFS Simulation FY1 • sign-off requirement August 2010 • FY1 doctors in whole of STFS have access to simulation training FY2 • sign-off requirement by August 2013 • FY2 in London based STFS Trusts have access to simulation training days • Mix of local Trust and simulation centres • FY2 within KSS limited access • Pilot F2 funded projects 162/520 KSS SimNet______Kent, Surrey and Sussex Simulation Network
