  1. Fluency in Technology - CSE 3 by Gail Gutierrez PHOTOSHOP! There are some very basic statistical concepts that every college educated person should understand. These are useful for understanding your grade distributions in classes here at UCSD, current events, and all manner of information in your lives. CSE 3 introduces the concepts and skills necessary to effectively use information technology. The class includes basic concepts and some practical skills with computer and networks. Lab 9 showed students how to embed secret messages in pictures. SCRATCH! HTML! Scratch is a programming language developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab to help young people learn how to develop computer programs. Thanks to CSE 3, I can make my own web pages! What is CSE 3? The picture shows a screenshot of a homemade ping pong game ABOUT ME! EXCEL! My name is Gail Gutierrez, and I am a 1st year at Sixth College. I am an aspiring filmmaker majoring in Media. We learned how to budget our school finances through Microsoft Excel. The program also enabled us to organize information and make charts.
