-Never use butter, grease or ice.
-If skin blisters or is charred see a doctor.
-Try to not wear really baggy/lose clothing when cooking.
-Put your hair up
-Turn pot handles inward so you or your child can’t bump into them.
- Enforce a kid free zone when cooking in the kitchen
-If a fire occurs when cooking with grease, put a lid over the pan to smother the flames and turn the heat off.

On his site are several different games related to fire safety including a baseball game, matching game, etc. There are also plenty of different activities for children to do that will help them become more fire aware, while entertaining them at the same time.
