  2. Purpose • To share information of our activities at the last SG16 meeting regarding N-ID • H.IRP • H.IDschemeM • To call for ideas about how to tackles the difficult situation of H.IDscheme

  3. Current status of H.IRP • One contribution from ETRI (Korea) proposing modification of H.IRP • One LS from SG17 indicating X.oid-res can be fixed to be interoperable with H.IRP • Annex.B can also accommodate with X.oid-res • Possibly will be consented at the next SG16 meeting (June, 2010)

  4. Current status of H.IDscheme • Two contributions from YRP UNL (Japan) and ETRI (Korea) • Answering the two questions • Need analysis on two alternatives; introducing new generic ID schemes or using combination of existing ones • Almost done? • Do we need more than one ID schemes? • Our opinion: there are no technical problem for supporting two ID schemes • France telecom’s opinion: Supporting two different ID schemes is not happy for N-ID service providers
