What are your dining hall favorites?

Sample Menu for a Day at HoCo! • Breakfast • Everything bagel with peanut butter • Orange juice • Coffee with skim milk and sugar • Yogurt with fruit • Bowl of cereal with skim milk • Snack • Apple and pretzels • Lunch • GF tomato basil soup • Grilled cheese sandwich • Salad with anything you like • Orange juice • Post practice snack • Banana and cliff bar • Gatorade • Dinner • Chicken, cheese, veggie quesadilla with mango black bean salsa • Normandy blend vegetables • Small bowl of garlic tomato penne • Skim milk • Snack/Dessert • Small brownie with fro-yo and fruit • Drink plenty of water all day!

  4. Mindful Eating • Enjoy all foods in moderation • Listen to your body- your stomach knows when it’s empty and full • Instead of associating guilt with certain foods, make those foods for special occasions with good company • No such thing as “good” and “bad” foods • Calorie Counting

  5. Reading Food Labels • What is the first item you read on the nutrition facts label? • What is the most confusing part about reading food labels? • Fats?!?!
