  1. What Factors to Consider When Taking Admission in Junior Golf Summer Camps? • Your adolescent is interested in golfing and wants to pursue it in school or after High School? The best thing to do as a parent is to get the child enrolled with one of the best junior golf summer camps. As a parent, you need to look at the program comprehensively before making a choice.  • These are a few of the main factors that need consideration when evaluating the best golf summer camp for the little one: • The first thing you need to be one hundred percent sure of is the reason behind sending the child to the golf summer camp. Does he have an innate knack for the game? Is he interested and has picked up the basics well in school? Is he uninterested in the game but since you feel that there is huge potential in the sports, you want the child to give it a try? Are you preparing him for the future because you want the kid to get a scholarship in college when he finishes his High School? Identifying the reason will help you decide if you want a specialized junior golf summer camp or just a conventional one for basic training.

  2. While scrutinizing your need you also should find if you are looking at an overnight program or a day program; whether it is a same-sex camp or coed. Based on these requirements you will be able to assess your budget if there are any transportation needs or any other exclusive needs that you need to take into account before making a decision.

  3. The next thing to do is to research about the camp. It is best not to stick to one single camp just because it is popular. Find out three or four such camps so that it is easy to shortlist later. Now, you need to get details about the camp – who are the owners and the managers? What are the activities planned? What kind of safety policies does the camp follow? Is it accredited by the trade? What is the mission and vision of the junior golf summer camp? Is it offering value for money or is it over-priced, under-priced? What are the cancelation policies? • Once all these questions are reviewed and you have shortlisted the camp, you should visit the camp or meet the organizers to get a better understanding of the work.

  4. What is a gap year golf academy? Often, students after completing their High School decide to take a gap year. Many go visiting places, while many prepare for college, and some enrol themselves in specialized courses. With golf becoming a strong preference of high school students and you get the chance to apply for a scholarship in college, it is a good opportunity to enrol with a gap year golf academy.
