WHY SHOULD I BE READY 3: displayed readily and spontaneously <a ready wit> • 4: immediately available <had ready cash> synonyms see QUICK — readyiynessnoun — at the ready: ready for immediate use <kept guns at the ready> • We will let the word of God do the talking we must remember this is the word of God in some of these passages to under stand what God is saying we must read more the passage before it or the passage after.

WHY SHOULD I BE READY • My job is to show you what the bible say about the word ready and you must come up with the meaning of how it will affect your life • (Ecc 5:1 KJV) Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil. • (Ecc 5:1 ESV) Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. To draw near to listen is better than to offer the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they are doing

WHY SHOULD I BE READY • (Isa 32:4 KJV) The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly. • (Dan 3:15 KJV) Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

For I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.“ • (2Co 9:3 ESV) But I am sending the brothers so that our boasting about you may not prove empty in this matter, so that you may be ready, as I said you would be.

WHY SHOULD I BE READY • (2Co 9:5 ESV) So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to go on ahead to you and arrange in advance for the gift you have promised, so that it may be ready as a willing gift, not as an exaction. • (1Ti 6:18 ESV) They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, • (Tit 3:1 ESV) Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, • (1Pe 1:5 ESV) who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

WHY SHOULD I BE READY (1Pe 3:15 ESV) but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, (Rev 3:2 ESV) Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.

  9. WHY SHOULD I BE READY FROM WHAT THE WORD OF GOD TEACHES IF I’M NOT READY I WILL NOT BE WITH HIM

WHY SHOULD I BE READY (1Pe 5:8 KJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Should you not be READY, if you know the Devil is after you the devil mean you no good . Mat 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Why is JESUS telling us this? HE wants us to be READY. Why don’t we listen…..

WHY SHOULD I BE READY Joh 12:47 If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. 49 For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment--what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me." I ask again WHY IS JESUS GIVING YOU AND I THIS INFORMATION?---He wants us to be ready------there is a song from the past PEOPLE GET READY FOR THERES A TRAIN ACOMING, THE BIBLE TELLS US JESUS IS COMING WILL YOU BE READY
