ADAPTATION TO THE NEW PROGRAMMING PERIOD (2/2) • Phase 2 (04-2008 – 12-2008) • Transition of an instrument-based to a user-oriented approach • Through a grid of key-words all the information on operational programmes, related funding schemes, project examples, regional service providers and networks will be interrelated • Three funds and EU-Programmes ! • User-friendly visualisation of the information context • Integration of a geographical information system: Funding information can be visualised for subregions and towns • Increase Transparency: The list of beneficiaries of the funds will be fully integrated in the database Wolf Born, Information Office Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to the EU, Brussels

CONCLUSIONS • Integrate and innovate! • In practice it is difficult to have different funds „under one umbrella“! • Provide knowledge instead of information by adding the context • Make your product attactive for the user by offering different accesses through modern means of visualisation and geographical information systems • eMeasures in Information and Publicity should provide an added value to the citizen – they are not an end in itself!
