Collision Avoidance System Coverage Evaluation for Power Wheelchairs

This study assesses sensor coverage in a power wheelchair collision-avoidance system using sonar and infrared sensors. Dark gray areas signify both sensor types, medium gray for sonar only, and light gray for infrared only. White areas lack coverage. The system's performance was evaluated.
