CLASS DAY. THURSDAY 9AM – 1PM 2PM - 6PM. SYNOPSIS In this subject, students will continue the topic that they have chosen in Design Project 1. A major media execution will focus on creating a working portfolio that is of industry quality.

  1. CLASS DAY THURSDAY 9AM – 1PM 2PM - 6PM

  2. SYNOPSIS In this subject, students will continue the topic that they have chosen in Design Project 1. A major media execution will focus on creating a working portfolio that is of industry quality. Full development from idea to a prototype/ final output will build the student’s ability in planning and project management skills.

  3. This is the time for you to show what you have learned for 3 or 4 years in MMU No more holding hands.

  4. OBJECTIVE: • To achieve high level of creative thinking and problem solving skills in the process of branding, advertising and marketing, utilizing the tools and technology available to leverage content creation. • To instill professionalism in handling projects, resources and time management. • To produce a portfolio by the process of planning, designing & executing 1 multimedia application from the areas of audiovisual, web or environmental media as major projects. A continuation from 2 minor media from previous subject.

  5. Passing grade : C • Attendance requirement: 80% • Tuition fees: 100% within 30 days of invoice issuance. (before exam)

  8. 2. Assessment Criteria • Ideation (Precedent studies + Sketches) • Art Direction (ideas) • Execution (design & technical skills) • Presentation (oral & work)

  9. Class Schedule • Refer document.

  10. Class rules • Come to class on time. • Consultations are important. NO SURPRISES. • Room consultations are on appointment basis. • Original MC from a valid clinic – to be submitted the next class day. • Original work only. Do not use other people’s idea, images, templates, etc.

  11. Progress grade will be given in the middle of the trimester • Barring list is applicable to this class.

  12. PENALTIES: • Later than 15 minutes: ABSENT! • Late for presentation: - 30% • Incomplete submission:- 10%

  13. Tips • Do a lot of research • ideas, execution, inspiration • Plan your project – time management! • Enhance your technical skills – online tutorials, trainings • Ask ex-students (Seniors) • Go beyond what is expected. • Do more, not just to pass the subject.

  14. EXTRAS • All students must get their MMU Webmail password from NTU (At FOE lower ground floor). Blog login details will be sent to your MMU Webmail. • Informal support groups – based on major • Degree show?
