Stats and Facts • Hogeweyk is a Nursing Home and is regulated in the same way as any Nursing home in the Netherlands • The Village is home to 152 residents who live across 23 ‘households’ • Each resident has very advanced dementia, some with other mental health needs, all residents end their life at Hogeweyk • The budget for each resident per day is 170 Euro (£134.00) incorporating everything from care to housekeeping, and meals • The unique selling point of Hogeweyk is ‘living in lifestyles: A mirror image of recognisable lifestyles in our society’
