  1. WELCOME! We’re glad you’re here!! Children are welcome in worship, or you may take them at any time to our staffed nursery (infant through 3 years).

  7. Trinity’s 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off When: May 18th Where: Trinity UMC Time: Judging – 5:00 to 5:30 Awards – 5:30 to 5:45 Please bring cornbread and desserts. Everything else will be provided.

  8. Volunteer Opportunity! We want to encourage our families to participate in Bible studies, social events, dinners, music programs, meetings and other activities both during the day or night.  You can be a part of making this happen by offering to babysit some of our little ones in the church nursery as occasions arise. If you would be willing to babysit, as needed, or for more information, please contact Sylvia Spencer at 410 224-2654 or JackSpencer@verizon.net.  Your help would be very much appreciated.

  10. We are planning a Plant Exchange on June 14. Think about what flowers you have that need dividing and which flowers you are tired of and ready to give in exchange for something new. More details to follow.

  12. Important Notice for all who are using the Kitchen! This past Tuesday it was discovered that someone had left the pilot lights and the oven on last night in the kitchen. Please remember to turn off the oven and all of the burners/pilot lights after you are finished. Thank you, Steve Busch, Trustees Chairman.

  13. YARD SALE!! Saturday, August 16th Spring Cleaning! You Got it! We want it! Please donate your GENTLY USED and clean pre-used treasures to our sale. Items may be brought to the Church anytime. Thank you!

  14. It’s that time again to start loosening your throwing arm and take some practice swings. We will be participating in the annual church softball league this year. More details later. Interested? Contact Steve Busch at 410-212-4651 or, steven.busch@ferc.gov.

  15. Items needed to help the homeless – Many of our winter guests remain homeless in the summer. Donations of tarps, tents, and sleeping bags are greatly appreciated. You may bring them to the office.

  16. MUSIC AND DRAMA CAMP – August 4-8 From 9 am to 1 pm. Children between the ages of 3-14 are invited to register. Invite your neighbors and your children’s friends to come with them!! Registration forms are available in the office.

  17. Trinity provided the dinner for the Light House residents on Tuesday evening, April 29th. Our “Sloppy Joe” dinner was well received, as always. • The residents came back for seconds unit it was gone! Many thanks to Linda Beall, Carolynn Berner, Marilyn Harrison and Bill and Nancy Busch for preparing and serving the dinner. • Ron Burdge

  18. LIGHT HOUSE VOLUNTEERS Over the years, church members have asked how they can help on an individual basis. The Light House frequently does need individual volunteers for a special need. Contact Ron Burdge at 410-757-2179 or ronburdge@msn.com

  19. Let your Spirit Soar (Seek God; Offer Yourself; Act in Faith; Repeat) We have new business cards to share with the community. Pick up a few and give them to sales associates where you shop and servers where you dine out. Give them to friends, neighbors, or people you meet on the street. Share the message of Jesus Christ with everyone! Ask the ushers to give you several!

  20. Place your Light House Shelter donations of food and other nonperishable items in one of the two baskets located outside the sanctuary door and by the elevator.

  21. Join us every Tuesday morning at 8am for PRAYER TIME FOR OUR TROOPS!

  22. You are invited to “PRAYER TIME FOR TRINITY” every Tuesday morning at 9:30 am.

  24. Hearing Devices are available in the Narthex AND in the hallway outside of the entrance to the Sanctuary for use during the worship services. Please see an usher if you need assistance.

TUMC Emergency Building Evacuation IF THE FIRE ALARM SOUNDS: REMAIN CALM Evacuate immediately using the nearest exit DO NOT RUN DO NOT USE THE ELEVATOR Assist people with special needs in your area. Go to the designated assembly areas which are located in the parsonage front yard and Locust St. Parking lot.

  26. TUMC Emergency Building Evacuation cont. DO NOT GO TO THE NURSERY OR SUNDAY SCHOOL for your children. They will be immediately escorted to the Locust St. designated assembly area. DO NOT GO TO YOUR AUTOMOBILE or attempt to move it from the parking lot. This could hinder access by emergency vehicles. Do not congregate near the building exits or in the parking lot or driveway. Do not reenter the building until an “All Clear” signal is given by emergency personnel.
