  3. PLANET NAME AND MYTH The name of my planet is Venus. In Greek Mythology “Venus was the Roman Goddess of Love and Beauty.” In Greece her name was Aphrodite. The belief was that she sprung up from the foam of the sea. Her parents were Zeus and Dione.

  4. NUMBER OF PLANET FROM SUN AND ITS TEMP. Venus is the second planet from the sun. The temperature is 863 degrees Fahrenheit. It is the hottest planet because of its unique atmosphere (96% Carbon Dioxide). Venus traps the heat from the sun within its atmosphere.

  5. IS IT AN INNER OR OUTER PLANET Venus is a inner planet because it is 1 of the 4 planets that are closest to the sun. It is aka a “Terrestrial Planet”.

  6. SURFACE MAPKEUP Venus’s surface is stormy yet it never rains. It has craters and volcanos which erupt molten lava. The planet has no liquid. Once Venus used to be covered with water but since it is so close to the sun the water evaporated. The clouds are filled with the poison Sulfuric Acid. Some areas on Venus will remind you of molten lead.

  7. MOONS AND RINGS Venus has no moons or rings because it is to close to the sun.

  8. INTERESTING FACTS • Venus has more volcanos (300 – 600 million) then earth does! • After the moon Venus is the brightest natural object in the sky. Venus is called the “Morning Star”. • Venus is also known as “Earth’s Sister” Planet. Both are similar in size and gravity. • The diameter of Venus is 7,520 miles across (400 miles smaller then Earth). • Venus rotates East to West. The only other planet that does this is Uranus. • It takes Venus 243 days to make a rotation. It takes 224 days to rotate around the Sun.

  9. PRICE • The price of my planet is $2,130,907.41. The price includes a life time supply of sun screen. A few hundred air mattress because it does tend to be a little bumpy ! It also includes 15,23,145 gallons of water. Drink up! Contact this number 1800.867.5309
