Introduction • TiE – The Indus Entrepreneurs • Founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. • Currently 13,000 members, including over 2,500 charter members in 61 chapters across 17 countries. • TiE’s mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE’s focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs. • TiE Pune • Current membership 350 members including 50 Charter Members. Reach-out to 3000 entrepreneurs in the community. • Activities include: My Story sessions, Mentoring, Nurture program (intense mentoring), Interactive Breakfast Meetings, Workshops, Business Plan Competitions, Industry- Academia Connect

TiEcon • What is TiECon • The foremost and most widely known event that TiE hosts is TiEcon, which is the largest professional and networking conference for entrepreneurs. • TiEcon Pune • This is the first TiEcon to be hosted by TiE Pune – huge enthusiasm and excitement around this event • The conference aims to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry • The aim of TiEcon Pune is to foster generation and discussion of entrepreneurial ideas, and develop a sustainable entrepreneurial infrastructure within the Pune region
