  2. Role Play – Can you help me Out? • Use the vocabulary from Activity 4- “GET THE PICTURE” to make different requests with your partner. Your partner will accept or decline your requests. Possible situations to Role-play: • Asking the girl/ boy you love out on a date. • Proposing to someone even though you are poor and have lost all your money. • Asking for money to have plastic surgery. • Asking for money so you can travel to an audition to star in a Kung Fu film or appear in a talent show • Asking your friend to invest in a new and unusual business plan.

Peer Editors –Some things to look for: • •Proper word forms: “I am an optimism person.” • •Complete sentences: “Because I like playing tennis so much. • •Spelling: “ I have many habbies.” • •Missing words “If they are happy, I will happy too.” • •Verb tense “During the past 20 years, my parents • had paid much to take us to school.” • •Punctuation:“If you are lucky enough you might find • a wolf in the mountains, do not be • afraid, it will run away because man is • the biggest enemy of animals. “

  5. Small Group Discussion Topics: • Which country would you like to visit and why? • Which areas in China would you also like to visit in the future?

  6. Homework • Prepare to present your ideas from the small group discussion, about your ideal travel destination, to the class. • Exchange your essays with a partner and edit and correct the essays using a pencil.
