  2. What happened on this Date? • Today is the 5th day of the 4th month of God. (July 1, 2006) • 2Kgs.25[3] And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land. • Jer.39[2] And in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the city was broken up. • Jer.52[6] And in the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land. • Ezek.1[1] Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.----------- OneInMessiah.net

  3. It all starts here: • I Kings 11 - read all of this chapter slow OneInMessiah.net

  4. The kingdom of Israel reached its height at the time of David and Solomon, approximately 1,000 years before the time of Yeshua. During the reign of Solomon?s son, Rehobam, the northern ten tribes of Israel split away from Judah and Benjamin. Thus the kingdom was divided into the northern tribes of Israel and the southern tribes of Judah. • The northern tribes of Israel were taken into captivity by the Assyrians in the eighth century B.C. and the southern tribes of Judah were taken into captivity during the sixth century. The Bible records that the captivity of Judah returned to the land of Israel during the fifth century B.C. (Ezra, Neh) OneInMessiah.net

  5. Bible does not record any major description of the restoration of the northern tribes. There has been much speculation over the years as to the question, "Where are the lost ten tribes?" • There are many dangerous cult groups that claim to be "actual" descendents of the ten northern tribes. This ranges from groups in Japan, Gypsies, Africian Americans, Britan, Native Americans and the list goes on and on. OneInMessiah.net

  6. There are some elements in Mormonism, the World Wide Church of God, the Armstrong group and Jehovah?s Witnesses that make similar claims. It has even affected parts of the Christian Zionist movement and the many flavors of the Two house doctrine in the Messianic world today ( 2006 ). OneInMessiah.net

  7. Beware of books with information that is not provable! • These books alway use terms such as: • 1) it may be • 2) it seems to be • 3) sounds like • 4) a possibility • 5) sounds crazy but... • 6) it feels like • 7) put together histories, fables, Jewish fables and endless genealogies OneInMessiah.net

  8. Paul and Peter warn us: • 1Tim.1[4] Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies , which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. • 1Tim.4[ 7] But refuse profane and old wives' fables , and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. • 2Tim.4[ 3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;[4 ] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables . OneInMessiah.net

  9. Paul and Peter warn us: • Tit.1[ 14] Not giving heed to Jewish fables , and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. • Tit.3[9] But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. • 2Pet.1[ 16] For we have not followed cunningly devised fables , when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. OneInMessiah.net

  10. All the tribes of Israel are included in what we call today the Jewish people. There is much biblical evidences that prove this position. • During the time of the kingdom division and the captivities, a certain percentage of each of the northern tribes came down and took up residence in the area of Judah. After that time the name Judah or the Jews referred not only to the specific tribe of Judah but also to the Benjaminites, the Levites and the remnant of all the northern tribes. OneInMessiah.net

  11. Exod.1 [7] And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them. • Esth.3 [8] And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them. • Esth.8 [9] Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language. 12. The Remnant • The book of II Chronicles records many times that the members of the northern tribes immigrated to Judah after the kingdom division. This happened from the very moment of the division. • 2Chr.10[ 16] And when all Israel saw that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and we have none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.[ 17] But as for the children of Israel that dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them. OneInMessiah.net

  13. It could not be stated more clearly that there were members of the Israeli tribes living in the territory of Judah. • II Chronicles 11:3 states that Rehobam was the king not only of Judah but to ALL Israel living IN Judah and Benjamin. OneInMessiah.net

  14. 2Chr.11[3] Speak unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying, • II Chronicles 11: 16-17 states that members of ALL the tribes of Israel who were loyal to God came down to Jerusalem and strengthened the kingdom of Judah. OneInMessiah.net

  15. 2Chr.11[ 16] And after them out of all the tribes of Israelsuch as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers .[17] So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon. • II Chronicles 15:9 tells us that during the revival of King Assa that there were "great numbers from Israel" who came over to Judah. OneInMessiah.net

  16. 2Chr.15[ 9] And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him. OneInMessiah.net

  17. II Chronicles 24:5 speaks of members gathered from all the tribes of Israel. • 2Chr.24[ 5] And he gathered together the priests and the Levites, and said to them, Go out unto the cities of Judah, and gather of all Israel money to repair the house of your God from year to year, and see that ye hasten the matter. Howbeit the Levites hastened it not. OneInMessiah.net

  18. II Chronicles 30:18 to 27 speaks of the children of the Israelite tribes who came to Judah during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. • 2Chr.30[ 18] For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one • [ 19] That prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary. OneInMessiah.net

  19. 2 Chronicles 30: • [20] And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people. • [21 ] And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the LORD . • [22] And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers. OneInMessiah.net

  20. 2 Chronicles 30: • [23] And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness. • [24] For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves. • [25] And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced. OneInMessiah.net

  21. 2 Chronicles 30: • [26] So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem. • [27] Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven. OneInMessiah.net

  22. II Chronicles 31:1 to 6 speaks of members of the tribes of Ephraim, Menassah, Zebulun, and Asher coming to Jerusalem. • 2Chr.31[1 ] Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned , every man to his possession, into their own cities. OneInMessiah.net

  23. 2 Chronicles 31: • 2] And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD. • [3] He appointed also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, to wit, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of the LORD. • [4] Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD. OneInMessiah.net

  24. 2 Chronicles 31: • [5] And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the fields; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly. • [6] And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps. OneInMessiah.net

  25. II Chronicles 34:6 adds to that list members of the tribes Simeon and Naphtali. • II Chronicles 34:9 states clearly that there were members of "ALL THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL" who were living in Jerusalem after the time of the Assyrian captivity. OneInMessiah.net

  26. 2 Chronicles 34: • [1 ] Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years. • [2] And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left. • [3] For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images. OneInMessiah.net

  27. 2 Chronicles 34: • [4] And they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he cut down; and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and strowed it upon the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them. [5] And he burnt the bones of the priests upon their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem. [6] And so did he in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even unto Naphtali, with their mattocks round about. OneInMessiah.net

  28. 2 Chronicles 34: • [7] And when he had broken down the altars and the groves, and had beaten the graven images into powder, and cut down all the idols throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem. • [8] Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land, and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of the LORD his God. • [9] And when they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they delivered the money that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors had gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel, and of all Judah and Benjamin; and they returned to Jerusalem. OneInMessiah.net

  29. II Chronicles 35:3 mentions the Levites taught "all Israel" who were part of Judah. • 2Chr.35[ 3] And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel , which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel, OneInMessiah.net

  30. II Chronicles 35:317 mentions the children of Israel kept the Passover • [17] And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days. OneInMessiah.net

  31. Captivity Restored - Ezra and Nehemiah • After the Babylonian captivity, the nation of Israel was restored under the leadership of Ezra and Nehemiah. In those books are extensive genealogical records. The fact that there were careful genealogical records proves that not only were the northern Israelites part of the restoration, but that they kept records of their families and they knew which tribe they were from. OneInMessiah.net

  32. Ezra 2:2 starts the records of "the number of the men of the people of ISRAEL." • Ezra.2[ 2] Which came with Zerubbabel: Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel: • Ezra 2:59 states that people had specific genealogical records not only to which of the northern tribes they were a part of, but even as to which household: "identify their father?s house of their genealogy, whether they were of Israel." OneInMessiah.net

  33. Those who had records but were not perfectly documented were disqualified and had to wait for supernatural verification by the Urim and Thumin (should they ever arise). This proves how meticulous and well documented were the great majority of the family records (Ezra 2:62-63). OneInMessiah.net

  34. Ezra 2:70 again speaks of "all" Israel dwelling in Judah after the restoration of Ezra and Nehemiah. Read below: • Ezra.2[ 59] And these were they which went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father's house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel: [60] The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two. OneInMessiah.net

  35. Ezra 2: • [61] And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name: • [62] These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood. • [63] And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim. OneInMessiah.net

  36. Ezra 2: • [64] The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore, • [65] Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women. • [66] Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five; • [67] Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty. OneInMessiah.net

  37. Ezra 2: • [68] And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place: • [69] They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests' garments. • [70] So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities. OneInMessiah.net

  38. Ezra 6:16 and 21 speaks specifically of "the children of Israel who had returned from the captivity." • Ezra.6:[16 ] And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy, OneInMessiah.net

  39. Ezra 6: • [17] And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel. • [18] And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses. • [19] And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth day of the first month. OneInMessiah.net

  40. Ezra 6: • [20] For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them were pure, and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves. • [21] And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat, • [22] And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy: for the LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel. OneInMessiah.net

OneInMessiah.net

  43. If you say Ephraim and Manasseh are the nations( or protestants churches of today ), then Yeshua said go not to them • Matt.10[ 1] And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. • [ 2] Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother OneInMessiah.net

OneInMessiah.net

  45. Matt.15[ 22] And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. [24] But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel . • Matt.18[ 12] How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? • [ 13] And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep , than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. OneInMessiah.net

  46. 1Pet.2[ 25] • For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. OneInMessiah.net
