BME Population : A Growing TrendScotland’s minority ethnic population now stands at 4%, double the number in 2001.Glasgow is one of the largest and most ethnically diverse placesin Scotland with 12% of Glaswegians citing themselves as either Asian (8%), African (2%), Caribbean or Black, or belonging to another ethnic group.Between 2006-07, 40,000 new migrant workers entered Scotland, (NHS Health Scotland report 2008) REACH COMMUNITY HEALTH PROJECT: HOLISTIC HEALTH FOR DIVERSE COMMUNITIES Scottish Charity No. SC 030398
