  2. . Car racing is a booming industry wherein racers such as Juan Camilo Perez thrive. The industry makes competition among different racers using their respective race cars. Although it is assumed that common cars ignited the start of this industry, it isn’t deniable that race cars also brought certain influences to the common cars. Moreso, here are some of it!

  3. Turbo Charging Turbocharged cars didn’t really take off until they started racing. When Porsche presented the 917/10 and 917/30 Can-Am cars around the 1970s, and Renault introduced turbo power to Formula One, this began in earnest. In IndyCar racing, turbocharging also poured fresh life – literally – into the decades-old Offenhauser engine. Turbocharged F1 cars, rally cars, and endurance racers had gone turbo crazy by the 1980s, with turbocharged F1 cars, rally cars, and endurance racers producing outrageous amounts of power. .

Carbon Fiber In 1979, designer John Barnard, who was then working for the McLaren Formula One team, was looking for a way to reduce the size of a race car’s chassis so that more underbody aerodynamic elements could be added. This “ground effect”era in Formula One is when such elements were critical to success. But there was a problem: the slimmed-down chassis wouldn’t be stiff enough if it were made of standard aluminum.

  5. Rear View Mirrors Ray Harroun decided to race a specially manufactured Marmon Wasp with streamlined single-seat bodywork, which meant there was no room for the riding technician. Harroun replaced the dashboard with a piece of glass. He won the first Indianapolis 500 and then retired. There was some exaggeration, as with most great stories.
