  2. - คนไทยชอบยิ้ม = ท - มหาวิทยาลัย คือ สถาบันอุดมศึกษา = ม - Aristotle is a logician. = A - Love is blind = L

  3. ในภาษาอังกฤษ ถ้าเป็น Propositional Logic สัญลักษณ์ที่นิยมใช้แทนคือ P, Q และ R ส่วน Predicate Logic สัญลักษณ์ที่นิยมใช้แทนคือ X, Y และ Z

  4. 2) เครื่องหมายปฏิเสธ~ จะใช้ในกรณีที่ข้อความนั้นมีความหมายปฏิเสธ เช่น - เขาไม่ไป = ~ ป - Mill is not a scientist. = ~ S

  5. หรือในกรณีที่ข้อความเดียวกันปรากฏในการอ้างเหตุผลเดียวกัน แต่มีความหมายขัดแย้งกัน เช่น หากข้อความ “ทุกชาติจะต้องไม่ครอบครองอาวุธมีอานุภาพทำลายล้างสูง” และ “ทุกชาติสามารถครอบครองอาวุธมีอานุภาพทำลายล้างสูงได้” ปรากฏในการอ้างเหตุผลเดียวกันจะเขียนสัญลักษณ์แทนดังนี้
