  1. Martin Wood’s case last week on Lichen Planus reminded me of a case we had recently which was induced by Imiquimod. As we are using more and more of Imiquimod in hospital and community clinics, we do need to keep in mind that it should never be used in an area where there is already an autoimmune condition such as eczema, psoriasis, Lichen Sclerosus, Lichen Planus, etc. This short report highlights two cases where I got it wrong! So, if any of these are present in the genital area, don’t use Imiquimod (Aldara) Dr Colm O'Mahony
