Scene 1 Opens in a newsroom during the middle of a news report. Newsroom music plays loud then quiets out. Voice over: the news reporters voices. Talk about a newsflash about the secret constitutional convention. May flip back and forth between different anchormen.
Scene 2 Cuts to a field reporter. Noise of people talking in the background. Reporter talks about how someone slipped a hint to the media. Talk a little about why the conference is taking place. “Let’s listen in…”
Scene 3 Cuts to a room crowded with men. Voices in the background is still there. Men are naming Washington the President of the Convention. They decide to get down to business.
Scene 4 Focus in of the representative from New Jersey. He lays out his plan for the government. Voices get louder in anger when he’s done.
Scene 5 Switch to a close up of the Virginia representative. Talk about his plans for the government. More outrage sounds.
Scene 6 Transition screen with text about how after much argument, they all came to a decision. Quiet.
Scene 7 Cut to Washington who talks about the Connecticut Plan. Have the quiet voices in the background.
Scene 8 Cut back to the newsroom. Quiet news music in the background. Talk about what they just saw and how it’s similarities and differences from the government that they just came from. Have them all sign off.
