  3. Today’s Session: Data Profiling Profilingis the analysis of data to provide insight into the data quality, frequently performed during the initial stage of a project. Profiling produces statistics (metadata) about the data that you will be working with. It reveals the general level of data quality, enabling you to identify quality issues at the outset of a project. Profiling is especially useful when you are working with a large amount of data.

Today’s Session: Data Profiling In this session, I will be using Information Builders’ Data Quality Center to demonstrate how iWay Data Quality solutions can help you analyze actual data and understand its true meaning and structure. You will see various profiling techniques such as: domain analysis, pattern analysis, dependency analysis, and primary key and foreign keys analyses.
