  2. Involvement • Two Tempus Programs: • Quality Assurance in Higher Education (JEP) • TTT: Training Trainers for Tempus & Other Programs (SCM) • Representatives from France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Belgium

  3. Preparing Successful Proposal • Knowledge of Tempus: concept, history, objectives, benefits, etc. Types: JEP, SCM, IMG. • We had a whole Tempus program on how to write a proposal • Determine precise needs and priorities

  4. Successful Proposal • Match with national and commission priorities • Depth of knowledge of issue in itself, in the context of the institution – and national, regional and (perhaps) global context • Find suitable partner(s): strengths; proven record; mutual commitment; true partnership, number of partners, etc.

  5. Successful Proposal • Explain issue to partner: partner familiar with issue but not the context • Role in writing • Precise, transparent, and up to it

  6. Successful Proposal • Overall benefit, impact and dissemination • Individual Mobility Grant • Tempus Office
