Enrollment • Select Add a new Destination Point (TG number/mailbox) to add a new TG number/mailbox • Select Modify existing services for a Destination Point to change or add services for a TG number/mailbox
Terminology • TG Number • Destination Point Administrator (DPA)
Terminology • Message class - used to identify type of data • SSCRXXIN – NSLDS Roster file (non cyclical) • IDSA08OP – ISIR data files for 2007-2008 cycle (cyclical) • Last 2 characters determine sender • IN – sent from school to application system • OP – sent from application system to school
Terminology • Message Class Table • Firewall - barrier between computer & external source (Internet), hardware or software implemented • May prevent EDconnect or TDClient from communicating with SAIG
SAIG Suite Components • EDconnect - PC software used to send and receive data. • TDClient– Mainframe and Mid-Range Client software used to send and receive data • TDCommunity Manager (TDCM) – Web tool used for viewing files transmitted through the mailboxing system
EDconnect • Windows based software used to transmit TitleIV data. • Current version is 7.2 • Download software athttp://fsadownload.ed.gov/softedconnect.htm

TDCM Features • Monitors sent and received files • Provides filter and sort capabilities • Supports advanced search options • Can be used to restore files • View error detail to troubleshoot transmission errors
Login Screen for TDCM • Username: enter TG and the five digit TG Number • Password: enter your SAIG Network password • Click Login
