  4. Paying the Bill • Online at myuw.washington.edu • Due by the 3rd Friday of every quarter • Student Action: • Pay online with: webcheck or credit card • Posts immediately and a safer option! • Mail payment • In person: Schmitz 129 or US Bank-HUB or Bookstore

Fees • Required fees • Penalty fees • Additional fees • Course, Tuition Forfeiture, Add, Drop, Insurance, UW Housing, Study Abroad, and Short Term Loan • Student Action: • Periodically review statement for additional fees • View fees in My UW • View academic calendar due dates to avoid large fees for changing classes and credits

  6. LoansvsScholarshipsvsGrants • Tuition and fees are paid first • Funds are disbursed to your account the first three weeks of the quarter • Loans - you pay back • Grants/Scholarships – you do not pay back • If you did not apply for Financial Aid, you can still apply

  7. Using Scholarships • Report all scholarships to the Office of Student Financial Aid • Not reporting may lead to repayment or loss of financial aid • Student Action: • Send scholarship checks to: • University of Washington, Scholarships • Box 24967 • Seattle, WA 98124-1967

  8. Using GET • Student Action: • Visit www.get.wa.gov • Enter the institution to receive funds • Choose payment option
