  1. DJI Phantom 4 Pro

  2. Founded in 2006, the Dji (short for Dajiang Innovation Technology) features a model super innovative of the Dji Phantom 4: Dji Phantom 4 Pro.

  3. The new Phantom 4 PRO that could very well be called Phantom 5 is superficially similar to its previous one. Indeed the frame, constructed with titanium and magnesium parts, has a different stiffness from the previous but the weight (1388g) remained similar to that of the Phantom 4.

  4. Many important novelties compared to the previous Phantom 4. New sensors with 360° obstacle detection for maximum safety in flight, allowing the drone to detect obstacles up to 30 meters away and even fly indoors and very tight. By activating the “Return to Home” function, the drone recognizes the point where is landing and automatically prevents settling in the water or on an unsuitable location.

  5. In the case of radio signal interruption, within one minute the drone flies back to the last point where there was coverage and waits for commands. If the radio signal does not arrives then it flies back home, avoiding obstacles in its path. The radio link is at 2.4 or 5.8 GHz, automatically selected depending on the signal quality, and the new radio has internal GPS and compass, as well as HDMI and MicroSD ports.

  6. The drone Phantom 4 PRO can fly up to 30 minutes thanks to the 5870 mAh 4S battery. The operating range of the radio control in the European version is 3.5 km.

  7. The obstacle avoidance system has been enhanced. In addition to the two front stereo vision sensors are added two other identical in the back. These optical sensors can detect an obstacle 30 meters away. On the left and right sides take place infrared sensors that have a range of 7 meters.

  8. This network of sensors makes it possible to detect an obstacle in five directions and to avoid it in four directions. Even in the version of the Phantom 4 Pro (as in that of the Phantom 4) the classic four flight modes are available: ATTI (without the use of GPS), P-Mode and Sport Mode with which the Phantom can reach 72 km/h, and available via app also Tripod Mode that limits the maximum speed to 7 km/h.

  9. Not to mention the cinematic potential of the drone, really hard to find and unparalleled: the undeniable feature is undoubtedly the camera and its performance, defined very singular. The new Phantom 4 PRO is equipped with a stabilized camera on three axes with a 20 megapixels with a 1-inch sensor able to film at 4K 60fps.

  10. The version with the remote control screen is the Phantom 4 PRO+ with 5.5 inches, 1080p resolution and 1000 cd/m2 brightness, more than double that of a smartphone. This allows you to be able to see images even in direct sunlight, very useful in the professional aspect.

  11. Drones models just described are in great demand, especially for its use involving frontline film professional field: the new DJI Phantom 4 Pro is already available for purchase in Italy in drones stores at a price of 1,699 Euros. With 300 euro more you can add a remote controller with an integrated 5.5-inch display, 1080p resolution and high brightness (1000 nits).
