The accurate term for this procedure is " Testing and in-service inspection of electrical appliances ". In New Zealand and Australia, PAT is simply known as 'Test and Tag'. • Aim • PAT testing Wigan check all the appliances are safe and are sustained to prevent the workers from harm. Many appliances produced to endorse testing at the continuing intervals to ensure regular safety. The test should be done between the equipment and the surrounding in which it is to be used.
