DAY 1: Friday, 06 December 2013 • Announcement by the President; • Media Conference by the Premier; • Activation of PROVJOINTS/PROVJOC/CLUSTER JOC’s; • Implementation of tactical plans; • Gathering of information; • Provision of Flags and Poles in all municipalities and schools • Lowering of the flags • Activation /setting up of Mourning Centres

DAY 2: Saturday, 07 December 2013 MOURNING DAY • Mourning Centres in Municipalities (4 per Municipality); • Condolence Register/Book (to be brought back to Mbombela Stadium) • Official Photo • Flower and Table Cloths • Big candles and flags • Tables and chairs • Condolence flowers’ corner & coordination of florists • Bottled water and Tea • Security (SAPS & SANDF) • Mobile Clinics and EMS • Grading of roads and parking

  5. DAY 3: Sunday, 08 December 2013 National Day of Prayer and Reflections • Prayer Sessions in District Municipalities / Regions’ identified venues

  6. DAY 4: Monday, 09 December 2013 MOURNING DAY • Continuation of prayer sessions in Municipality Mourning Centres

  7. DAY 5: Tuesday, 10 December 2013 National Memorial Day • Linking Mbombela with the main event at FNB Stadium

  8. DAY 6 Wednesday, 11 December 2013 • Madiba’s body will lie in state at the Union Buildings • Nkangala Rally at ThembaSinamela Stadium, eMhluzi

  9. DAY 7 Thursday, 12 December 2013 • District Rally for GertSibande at Mpumalanga Stadium in Ermelo

  10. DAY 8 Friday, 13 December 2013 • Ehlanzeni Rally at Driekoppies Stadium in Nkomazi • Bohlabelo Rally at Mkhuhlu Stadium

  11. DAY 9: Saturday, 14 December 2013 Night Vigil • Mbombela Stadium as the main venue • To be provided - Transport - T-Shirts - Stage - Sound System - Outdoor Audio-Visual Screens - Bottled Water - Catering - Banners

  12. DAY 10: Sunday,15 December 2013 BURIAL DAY • Link the main event to Mbombela Stadium • Catering
