  5. Release 3 Key Assumptions • New product introductions or engineering changes will be manual in Oracle and Friedman for a period of time during deployment • An item cross reference must be created from legacy nomenclature to new nomenclature (CON010) • Price list synchronization – approach to be reviewed, currently assumed to be manual • Access to legacy systems should be selectively disabled at deployed plants

Removed from Scope (major changes) • Sales and Use Tax Package Interface (Inbound and Outbound) – INT014A&B • Sabrix is the new solution • DocLink document management (Outbound) – INT013 • Stellent is the new solution • Schedule to Dispatch extension from MCS • Will use Oracle Field Service module instead • New customer ordering portal is not expected to be deployed with Release 3

  7. Key Issues • Release One • Data validation • Reports – custom and Financial Statement Generator (FSG) • Validate Spreadsheet Server • Role mapping to personnel • Issues with sub ledger accounting bugs • Setting up Daily Business Intelligence (DBI) • Release Two • Setting up models in the configurator – limit changes to BOM structure • Sales tax – SABRIX or work-around • Fractions versus decimals on measurements • Setting up label software (Loftware) • Routing special instructions for boring, cutting, and accessories • Definition of reports • Potential issues with implementing Miter Doors • Stability of software – especially OTM and Demantra • TxNotes functionality • Testing

Sterling and Duncanville go-live to account for swing customers (Capacity Leveling) - This becomes critical in C Option • Oracle to JDE – Gulfport/Series 100/Series 200 – CR 99 • Gulfport is a Merillat product line and Gulfport customers are invoiced out of JDE - Not sure if this is needed for BC options • JDE to Oracle to JDE (Reico and Gulfport) – CR 100 • Reico Gulfport orders entered in JDE first, then interfaced to Oracle for manufacturing and back to JDE for invoicing - May not need for BC • Oracle to Frontier and back • Required in between Mt.
