  2. The Lord said to His people: “Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name.” When we call on the Lord, He will answer us. He will be with us in trouble. He will rescue us and honor us. With thanksgiving and praise, let us come and worship the Lord with all of our hearts, all of our minds, all of our strengths, and all of our souls. God delights in us when we open our hearts before him. In humility and faith, let us confess our sins before God and our neighbors, trusting that by God’s grace, God will set us free.

In our words and our deeds we dishonor you, yet you still profess your love for us. We cut ourselves off from you and from others, but you will not let us go. Forgive our faithless and fickle ways and increase our gratitude, that we might grow in faithfulness to you, for the sake of Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray, Amen.

The Guest Speaker will be Rev. Grace May of Women of Wonder, Inc. • In addition, the NYC Presbytery will be hosting its annual Presbytery Resource Dayon Saturday, 10/29.
