  2. What is eTCB? The eTCB System consists of the custom-built trainer board (eTCB) that works with National Instruments’ ELVIS (Electronics Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Suite) and a personal computer for students to perform DC/AC lab experiments.

What is the purpose of eTCB? • Perform DC/AC lab experiments • Work with real components and real circuits • Measure real electrical quantities, so students to not need to rely exclusively on simulation • Perform measurements and develop industry-relevant experience • Offer a flexible, practical and cost effective lab environment

System Requirements • To set up and use the eTCB System, the following are required: • The eTCB (Trainer Board) • The eTCB Software • The eTCB Lab Manual • The National Instrument’s EVLIS workstation, data acquisition board, and LabView 7.0 or later • A computer • Windows NT/2000/ME/XP • Recommended 1280 X 1024 resolution with true color • 128 MB RAM • CD-ROM drive • One PCI or PCMCIA card slot
