IDEA FAIR 2013 Instructions • Delete this slide and the next one from your final presentation. • Adjust the chart on the last slide to reflect the number of revenue streams in your financial model. • If you need more than one slide for a topic, that is OK. For example, if you need 2 slides to cover one topic, that is OK, but strongly suggest no more than 6 total slides. You will only have 5 minutes to present your idea! • Use pictures and adjust the font to make each slide look full (don’t leave lots of white space).

IDEA FAIR 2013 Venture Description • Company: Insert the complete first sentence of your venture description. • First Product: Describe your first product (service). • Target Market: Describe the target market for first product (service) and the size of this market. • Future Products: Briefly describe future products (services)
IDEA FAIR 2013 Venture Problem • Problem: Describe the problem that customers want to solve (want they seek to satisfy). • Current Solutions: Describe how people currently solve this problem (satisfy this want). If you have space, insert pictures of current solutions. • Pain Points: Describe the pain generated by these solutions. If you have space insert a picture of the pain. • Customers: Describe the people who have this pain. • Market Size: Estimate the number of people who have this pain.
IDEA FAIR 2013 Differentation • Competition: Describe your competitors. • Differentiation: Describe how your products (services) are different from those provided by competitors. • Appeal: Explain why these differences matter to customers. In particular, explain how they address the pain points you identified. • Sustainable Advantage: Explain why it will be hard for competitors to copy your products (services).
IDEA FAIR 2013 Founding Team • Explain why you and your co-founders (if any) are the right people to start this venture. Use a different bullet point for each founder. If you are the only founder, use different bullet points to describe your experience and skills.
