  2. Plan for the coming year • Weakened UK £ - cost of goods has increased by 30%. • In response we have increased our prices by 17% and absorbed the rest of the increased costs. • Sales affected (last 6 months) • Time to concentrate on core market

  3. Heart of our Core Market • Our wider family of Meditators, Sidhas and Governors • MIC’s - key role in the distribution of the products

  4. Previous sales via Governors • At one time MAP sales via TM Centres was almost 30% of our total sales. It is now 8%

  5. Become an active MAV centre • What can you do? • How can you become more involved? • Why would you want to?

  6. Additional income stream & people through the door • From sale of products and commission • Introduce people to TM via Ayurveda

  7. TM and Ayurveda part of same package • Expansion of consciousness leads to better health, better health aids expansion of consciousness • If your Meditators take full advantage of MAV they will get greater benefit from TM and vice versa

  8. Discounts • TM centres/MIC’s are the only distributors who are not a health practitioner a shop or a salon • Discounts for purchasing directly from MAP • Discounts given for actively promoting MAV

  9. Previous discount rates • ‘A’ was approximately 20% on most items • ‘B’: 25% on most items • ‘C’: 30% on most items • What we mean by 25% or 30% on most items

  10. New discount rates • ‘A’ rate scrapped • New centres start on ‘B’ rate • ‘C’ rate – turnover £5000 p.a. • Fast track to C rate – local promotion plan • C rate for £500 in one go • Higher rates negotiable on turnover

  11. Credit • 30 days net (payment by the end of the month following that in which the order is invoiced) • Get some income in before paying for the goods

  12. Keeping stock at the centre • Good idea if: • dedicated Meditators’ meeting room • regular Meditators meetings.

  14. Managing Stock and BBE Dates • Don’t buy too much • Keep a record of Best Before dates • At least 3 months left on the best before date for refunds • We endeavour to provide products with at least 6 months Best Before

  16. Ordering for your regular Meditators • No room for ongoing stock • No budget for stock investment • Amalgamate orders for C rate discount • Regular income without keeping stock

  17. Commission system • For when your Meditators buy direct: • Send us their details • We log them as yours • When they buy you get commission • Commission for customers NEW to MAP

  18. Commission Rates • 13% on a B discount • 18% on C discount • Commission credited monthly

  19. Opting-in • Ask your Meditators to quote your commission code • Keep reply cards, catalogues and price lists • displaying your commission code

  20. Example of commission: • 1 x MA4 per month • £477.60 per year • 13% commission = £62.08 • 18% commission = £85.96 a year

  21. Treatment at MAHC • Special clinic promotion until September 2009 • Send a new person to our clinic for treatment • Receive £10 credit for every treatment day (e.g. £50 for 5 days PK)

DVD Based courses • ‘Short Courses on Maharishi’s Vedic Approach to Health have recently been updated and re-released by Maharishi College of Vedic Medicine in June 2007’ • This series of 4 courses which can be taught to everyone including non-meditators, generally consist of 16 lessons of 1.5-2 hours each. • The current course fee is £320 (one quarter of the previous price). • The 4 courses are:
