  6. ĶegumsCommercialSecondarySchool • Withbranches in Tome and Rembate: • 440 students • Set of 29 classes • 54teachers

School realizes 5 education programmes: • Programme of basic education • Programme of basic education with the focus on commercial subjects (Form 7 – 9) • Programme of special basic education for children with special needs • Programme of general secondary education • Programme of professionally-oriented secondary education with the focus on commercial subjects

Study process • School starts on 1st September. • Holidays: • In October – 1 week; • At Christmas - 2 weeks; • In March – 1 week. • Studies finishes on 31st May. • Achievements are evaluatedin 10-point grading scale. • Students, who haveunsatisfactorymarks have their study year prolonged by 2 weeks.

Excursions areoften organized to miscellaneous companies, establishments and organization. • Project week in February. • Secondaryschool studentswork out a research work and present it in 11th class. • 12th class students ofprofessionally-oriented programme havefieldpractice in companies for 2 weeks.
