  4. 16 Attending rave are hospitalized More than 12,000 people attended a Halloween themed rave at Los Angeles Sports Arena. Sixteen people were hospitalized and forty were arrested. Organizers called it “America’s largest Halloween Dance Music Festival.” She collapsed.

  5. Rave casualties “A fifteen year old dies after rave,” this girl managed to slip underage into a downtown rave. Thousands of teenagers manage to slip under concerts, movies, and other age-restricted events, but they all don’t die because of that. The raver didn’t die because she was fifteen, she died because she took ecstasy. She was another girl with the same casualty, except she was sixteen at the time.

  6. Girl, 15, dies after weekend rave A fifteen year old died of a suspected drug overdose after attending a rave at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum that had an age minimum requirement of sixteen. Family members identified her as Sasha Rodriguez, her mother told the news that she was supposed to be planning a Sweet Sixteen, not a funeral.

The event had about forty five thousand revelers. Event promoter said that he was going to have new safety measures next time, an age-requirement entrance and amnesty boxes.

Other four people became critically ill and were hospitalized. The organizers had worked with city officials to reduce health risks, but decided to cancel the last day to have it safer.
