  1. Increase Sales By Installing A Commercial EV Charging Station It is a fact that within not too many years from now we will all be driving electric vehicles rather than petrol or diesel. Scotland is planning to phase out the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2032, so you won’t be able to buy new, and by that time the sale of electric vehicles will have expanded enormously anyway. There will be many more public charging points as well. All of this can be very good news for businesses who grasp the opportunity that this presents right now. There are many types of business who can benefit from installing a commercial EV charging station on their premises starting today. If you have a business where people use their cars to come to you, you can provide them with EV charging points so that they can charge their cars while they are on your premises. Filling up a tank with petrol or diesel and paying for it only takes perhaps four or five minutes.

  2. However, charging up an electric vehicle takes longer. Even with a fast charger, you are looking at 30 minutes or so from depleted to 80% charged, and that means that those drivers are going to have to be on your premises for that length of time, or maybe longer. There are several ways that you can benefit from this, not the least of which is by charging them a fee and making a profit on the electricity that you provide them with. However, there is a better way – depending on your individual business -and that is to let them charge their cars for free. Yes, you would pay for the electricity used but you would have them on your premises spending money while they charge up their car. Furthermore, if the business down the road charges a fee, and you don’t, where are those drivers going to choose to charge up? Jorro Energy Consultants is in the business of installing EV chargers and can work with you in order to devise the best method of providing charging to your customers. It could be very profitable for you indeed, and by installing chargers now you will be one step ahead of all your competition.
