  1. R. J. Reilly (1925- ) Before retirement,  Professor of English at the University of Detroit. He is the author of Romantic Religion: A Study in the Work of Owen Barfield, C. S. Lewis, Charles Williams, and J. R. R. Tolkien.  He contributed to Evolution of Consciousness: Studies in Polarityand is the author of "AnthroposophicalRomanticism" (the chapter on Barfield from Romantic Religion) and "Owen Barfield: Symbol and Teacher" are both included here.
