Functional Domains and Tandem Repeats in Gsn Protein: Insights from PBD Analysis
This study explores the structural and functional characteristics of the Gsn protein, focusing on its various domains, including the PBD (Profilin-Binding Domain) sequences. The analysis highlights the presence of two tandem repeats of PBD1 and PBD2 and examines segments such as NH-Gsn (aa22-151) and Mid-Gsn (aa256-491). Additionally, we detail the C-terminal domain COOH-Gsn (aa492-755) and the implications of these findings for cellular function and interaction. Our results contribute to understanding Gsn's role in cellular processes.
