Animalpedia The scientific name for the Blue arrow poison frog is Dendrobates spp and Phyllobates spp. It is found in the following countries: Panama, Nicaragua , Costa Rica, Venezuela, Guyana, Colombia, Brazil and Surinam. Their diet is mostly made up of insects especially ants. They are also relatives to the Marbled Milk frog and the Thai tree frog. The blue arrow poison frogs live on the damp leafy floors of tropical rainforests. Their length is usually around 4cm making them quite vulnerable.
