  2. ABOUT THE COMPANY • The company Megafood, founded in 2001, started its activity with the import of confectionery and food to the Republic of Armenia. The company, having gradually developed its assortment, volume and market field, is one of the contemporary leaders in the field of import and distribution of confectionery and food in the territory of RA. • The population of RA is approximately 3-3.2 mln. people and out of which 1.2mln. are inhabitants of RA capital- Yerevan. The incomes of Yerevan dominate those in regions, thus making it the most active consumer of imported product (65-70%). • The distribution of the products is realized by our own exclusive teams of sales managers and forwarding agents to more than 3500 trade stores in Yerevan and other regions. The sales managers and forwarding agents are devided into 5 groups according to the product type they deal with.. We also exercise wholesale and retail trade in 2 stores in the wholesale market in Yerevan. Besides we have nets of retail stores. • In 2011 the volume of procurement of the company amounted to 5905 tons and the turnover amounted 30 mln USD • The staff of the company consists of 216 people. • The property of the company includes the central storage with the area of 4500square meters with railway and truck platforms, 42trucks out of which 6 are 3-5ton-carrying and 36 are 1.5-3ton-carrying trucks. • MEGAFOOD is the axclusive distributor of such companies as: Obyedinyoniye Konditery (RUS),Roshen (UKR), Konti (UKR),Nestle Ukraine (UKR), Poltava-Konditer (UKR), Druzhkovskaya pishevkusovaya fabrika (UKR), Zaporozhskaya konditerskaya fabrika (UKR), Zhitomirskiye Lasoshy (UKR), Khersonskaya konditerskaya fabrika (UKR), Slavyanka (RUS), Kazansky zhirovoy kombinat (RUS), Makheev (RUS)Torgovy dom Yarmarka (RUS), Firma Cukiernicza Solidarnosc (PL), Mokate (PL), Fikosota sintez- Italfood (BUL),The Belgian (BЕ), Witor’s (IT), Kelly’s Gelhschaft MBH (AT).
