Overview • Collaboration database (BWHO, people) -> PIE • Collaboration database (BWHO, documents) -> Weblib • Mailing lists -> listserv • Web -> central web service
Collaboration database (people) • BWHO (Access) -> People Institutes Experiments • BWHO database now frozen • secretariat being trained in PIE • PIE database being checked for completeness • Web needs to point to PIE/Greybook pages • scheduled for completion: end july
Collaboration database (documents) • BWHO (Access) -> Weblib • Weblib filled automatically from BWHO • password protection possible • secretariat to be trained in Weblib • Web needs to point to Weblib pages • scheduled for completion: end july
Mailing lists • Mailing lists created automatically after migration to PIE • list addresses will change: lhcb@lhcb.cern.ch -> lhcb@cern.ch • autoforwarding from old to new addresses • messages on existing archive will be moved to the archive of the new lists • Timescale: 2nd week of august
Web server • Use central CERN web service • Frontpage 2000 used to migrate pages (supports multi level subwebs) • Licenses available for (outside) CERN users • Links, shared borders to be checked • Web addresses to be moved; (lhcb.cern.ch, lhcbw3.cern.ch, lhcbweb.cern.ch, cern.ch/lhcb/ etc.)
