  2. The Program • College of Life Sciences, Southwest University, Chongqing, China • Campus Location – Beibei • Key Laboratory for the Eco-Environment of the Three Gorges Reservoir Region of the Ministry of Education • May 28th – August 15th 2012

  3. Program Goals • To study abroad • To gain research skills/experience • To make global connections • To integrate my interests into my summer

  4. Accomplishments • Acquired valuable research experience • Logged 100+ lab hours • Honed field work practices • Coauthored a scientific paper • Gained experience reading scientific literature • Developed intercultural presentation skills
