  1. Beginning and End

  2. As I walk around the decorated space the ambiance has changed from antiseptic art gallery to beautiful wedding venue. So many wonderful memories flood my conscious and visions of my own pending wedding dance in my head. A nearby art piece hangs on a blank wall, diamonds surrounded with deep shades of purple. This blends well with the colors and symbols of the wedding theme. Diamonds are now the symbol of love and have always been a girl’s best friend. Welcoming signs of blessings and happiness displayed throughout the space invite you into their purpled wedded bliss. The feeling in the air is of joy, hope, gratitude, respect, and everlasting love. The room is still haunted by the laughter, the tears, the first dance, the cutting of the cake, the pictures, the music, and the love. The couple have embarked on a new journey together and have promised forever and always, through sickness and health, till the day they die.

  3. How quickly things can change… As I walk outside the feelings of love and happiness float away into the dark rain clouds above. The romantic wedding arch laid abandoned and forgotten on the cold, damp floor. The purple fabric adorning the arch ripped with the blowing wind. Nearby the corpse of cigarettes leave a foul stench in the air that invades the senses. The sign of death evident in the brown wilted leaves of what was once a green plant. This is the end…

  4. Please… STOP… yelling… Please… STOP… fighting! Why do you HATE me? LOVE me! I HATE you! You PROMISED forever and always! Am I not GOOD ENOUGH for you anymore? Please don’t LEAVE! REMEMBERE all the good times… I don’t NEED you! Please STAY! Who will LOVE me now? I PROMISE to be good! Daddy…please DON’T leave us… Don’t leave ME… Please…
