Overview of Pieter Stalenhoef • Pieter Stalenhoef holds a Master of Arts degree in Investment Management from Boston University and is an inductee of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor organization. • He graduated with honors from the Boston University School of Management. • He currently works as a Financial Advisor for Santander Investment Services, and in college he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and a student senator.

Pieter's Career Path • Despite beginning his career in investments in 1992 as a sales representative for Cincinnati's Provident Bank, Pieter Stalenhoef made the move to the investment industry two years later when he joined Fidelity Investments. • Prior to beginning his present role, he spent nearly eight years working for a well-known company, where he oversaw analysis, valuation, and security selection for a small to mid-cap portfolio that Morningstar rated as a 4-star fund.

Pieter's Perspective on International Small and Mid-Cap Stocks • Pieter Stalenhoef can effectively assess small and mid-cap international stocks thanks to his Boston University investment management education. • He clarifies that corporations with market capitalizations between $300 million and $2 billion are the owners of small-cap stocks. • Conversely, larger corporations with market capitalizations ranging from $2 billion to $10 billion offer mid-cap stocks.
