  • Goals of the research and development project KENWO were:

  • The further the introduction specific, integrated and optimized energy concepts in applications

  • The implementation of energy concepts using a sustainable cost efficient energy management system for monitoring

  • Evaluation of several aspects of the concept using a number of real buildings and gaining experience for real-world applications

  • Savings with optimized contracts (i.e. changing connected load of long distance heating)

  • Optimization of costs for investments and follow-up cost for refitting measures

  • Improvement of comfort due to hydraulic adjustment and regulation of heating

  • Increasing of reliability though transparency of systems (condition, maintenance, calibration of the meters, etc. )

    • Integration of recorded data into Software for automated processing for visualization, creation of statistics and preprocessing
