It was worked by Shri Kanchi Kamkoti Peeth and is a cutting edge sanctuary, four story high and reflecting Dravidian style of engineering. It has a stature of 131 feet and the sanctuary remains on 16 in number columns.

  1. Shankar Viman Mandapam: holiest ever This is the main sanctuary in the city worked in South Indian style and situated on the banks of the Triveni Sangam. It was worked by Shri Kanchi Kamkoti Peeth and is a cutting edge sanctuary, four story high and reflecting Dravidian style of engineering. It has a stature of 131 feet and the sanctuary remains on 16 in number columns. The development of the sanctuary began in 1970 yet it required 16 years to finish it. At the entry are the sculptures of Shankaracharya and Mandan Mishra. On each floor of the sanctuary you can see the places of worship of various Gods and Goddesses and on the dividers of the sanctuary there are lovely canvases portraying scenes from the epic Ramayana. The sanctuary is visited by an enormous number of aficionados from all pieces of the city and dissimilar to the sanctuaries in the North you are not permitted to enter in the sanctum sanctorum. Customary pujas are held here and the enthusiasts are offered the Prasada later the Puja. As you enter the sanctuary you see: The place of worship of Kamakshi Devi in the sitting stance. On the external mass of this place of worship there are figures of Mookambika, Panchamukha Gayatri, Vindhyavasini, Durga, Ganga and Saraswati.
