  1. Functioning of the Data Migration Service of AWS • In the modern data-driven business environment, most organizations prefer to use the highly optimized DMS AWS (Database Migration Service of the Amazon Web Service) cloud-based solution for migrating databases. This might be from on-premises systems to the cloud or from one cloud provider to another. The option before businesses is to opt for either one-time database migration or continual replication of changes made at the source database to the target database via the Change Data Capture feature. However, this is possible only when the source and the target databases are kept in sync. • DMS AWSis a data replication software that is based in the cloud. It can only work when a link is established between the source and the target databases. This is because it is essential for DMS AWSto know where the data is coming from and to which target database it should be migrated. After this step is done, the next is to specify the activity that will help in loading data from the source to the target.
